  1. What a mess, to have had a ayuntamiento not knowing that invoices have to be paid! What a bad example for a community!
    Where has this money gone?
This seems to be the only measure to have them go into action!
How about if everyone on the Electrol roll paid euros 10 so we could move forward and work with a "ayuntamineto" that is more transparent to the public.
Alternatively we could set up a market, like the one for the animal shelter, and collect money there. this could also be fun, for the villagers,
selling their unwanted items and buying new ones 2nd. hand.

  2. I think they knew perfectly what they were doing. They were leaving the situation too difficult for a new council, because the unpaid electricity bills are only the tip of the iceberg. So, they think the only thing the new local government can do is fail. Let's proof they're wrong

  3. How about starting Residents Parking (as in the UK) where full time residents pay a licence fee for a permanent parking place for their use or their guests. This would perhaps help to fill the coffers. The fee is paid to the Town Hall annually. This might help with the parking problems. We can name quite a few people who constantly park illegally and never get parking fines from the local police. This is something that should be addressed as foreigners seem to be the only ones ticketed. Experienced with my guests in front of my house.

  4. that's a good idea!

...but, believe me, foreigners ARE NOT the only ones ticketed (enough of that rancid victimism), but for sure there is an issue here that should be addressed ("o todos moros, o todos cristianos")
